Views of Long Scraggy peak to the East and the snow-capped beauty of Pikes Peak to the South with Mount Evans to the North are highlights of the Colorado Trail Competitive Ride! Terrain is varied on the trails with good footing over mild to moderate hills with conifers, pines and aspen groves. Hills are studded with spectacular and unusual rock formations. Portions of the trail are on the historic Colorado Trail which links Denver and Durango. We are hoping to include some different trails this year.
